Transport Properties in Magnetized Compact Stars

چکیده
Transport properties of dense quark matter are discussed in the strong magnetic field, B. B dependence as well density Hall conductivity is discussed, based on microscopic Kubo formula. We took into account possibility inhomogeneous chiral phase at moderate densities, where anomalous effect intrinsic and resembles one Weyl semimetals condensed physics. Some theoretical aspects inherent also discussed.

Deformation of relativistic magnetized stars
We formulate deformation of relativistic stars due to the magnetic stress, considering the magnetic fields to be perturbations from spherical stars. The ellipticity for the dipole magnetic field is calculated for some stellar models. We have found that the ellipticity becomes large with increase of a relativistic factor for the models with the same energy ratio of the magnetic energy to the gra...
متن کاملMixing zones in magnetized differentially rotating stars
We study the secular instability of magnetized differentially rotating radiative zones taking account of viscosity and magnetic and thermal diffusivities. The considered instability generalizes the well-known Goldreich-Schubert-Fricke instability for the case of a sufficiently strong nagnetic field. In magnetized stars, instability can lead to a formation of non-spherical unstable zones where w...
متن کاملQuark matter influence on observational properties of compact stars
Densities in compact stars may be such that quarks are no longer confined in hadrons, but instead behave as weakly interacting particles. In this regime perturbative calculations are possible. Yet, due to high pressures and an attractive channel in the strong force, condensation of quarks in a superfluid state is likely. This can have interesting consequences for magnetic fields, especially in ...
متن کاملMagnetized Iron Atmospheres for Neutron Stars Mohan
Using a Hartree-Fock formalism, we estimate energy levels and photon cross sections for atomic iron in magnetic Ðelds BD 1013 G. Computing ionization equilibrium and normal mode opacities with these data, we construct LTE neutron star model atmospheres at 5.5 \ log and compute emergent (Teff) \ 6.5 spectra. We examine the dependence of the emergent spectra on and B. We also show the spectral Te...
متن کاملMagnetized massive stars as magnetar progenitors
The origin of ultra-intense magnetic fields on magnetars is a mystery in modern astrophysics. We model the core collapse dynamics of massive progenitor stars with high surface magnetic fields in the theoretical framework of a self-similar general polytropic magnetofluid under the self-gravity with a quasi-spherical symmetry. With the specification of physical parameters such as mass density, te...
